Lechonera La Piraña: This is a South Bronx institution operating out of a trailer at East 152nd Street and Wales Avenue. It’s open weekends only, serving Puerto Rican-style roast pork chopped up with a machete and dressed in the owner’s signature mojito sauce.
Longwood Historic District: A cluster of turn-of-the-20th-century rowhouses along Beck, Kelly, and Dawson Streets, designed by architect Warren C. Dickerson and landmarked in 1980.
